95 H3-41 losses power will only run 25 mph
Posted by Jason on October 14, 2013 at 3:23 pmhello guys. Hope someone can help me. My coach is cutting the fuel and only running 25 mph. How do you pull codes without going to dealer. Thanks.

That is probably a DDEC 111 if you have the diagnostic request switch
Turn the ignition on
depress and hold the diagnostic switch
the codes will flash red -sel yellow cel
code 13 is active and 21 is inactivecode 13 is 1 flash short pause then 3 flashes a long paluse 2 flashes a short pause 1 flash that is code 21
It can be a major pain flashing the codes and and reading them as there are a bunch you know anyone that has a Prolink ? that is the easiest way some dealers will do it for free and some charge
good luck

It will likely prove valuable getting the coach to someone with a reader and qualified to work on and understand not only the engine and the coach, but DDEC.
There are any number of things that can create the situation you describe and some can be as simple as a poor ground or connector or something more serious. At the very least a reader is going to not only provide the information, but more detail by far than flashing a code.

would suggest the battery providing power to your ddec is weak(lower than 12 volts or bad connection on either ground or positive. It draws from one battery in the bank only so if one is bad it can screw your DDEC up. Ck your batteries indivually. Bob

It not going to be cut and dry you need a DDR to find out what function is assigned to auxiliary output causing the code 62 it can get interesting
good luck

Was just trying to give you a simple check before you spent big$$$ and it be something simple as bad battery or corroded fuse holder or the like. Things I would check. Good luck!
