The ATS transfer switch needs a good ground to pull relays in.

If the problem is only occurring at John’s house after a 50 amp service was installed I think we can safely assume this is not a bus related issue.

The electrician has not returned but I think this breaker is wrong maybe a single and not a double pole IDK for sure.
My panel is showing the green light for shore power is illuminated but there is 0 on the Voltage panel. (it is working fine from a regular extension cord on 30 amp outdoor house outlet so I am ruling out the coach as the issue).
Hopefully he will be back this week to look at it as he is wiring a guest house for me which is why he has been out there anyway.

We’ve made hundreds of thousands of temporary power outlets (what RV outlets are called and certified under) and have never seen or heard of breakers like that.
Replace the whole shebang with a real RV power outlet. The electrician needs to go back for training.

He is only showing the subpanel that supplies the outlet, which remains unseen. Those Levition breakers are a very nice product, and the 50 amp breaker shown is a two-pole breaker. We need to see the outlet itself and how it is wired.

So, after all of this, the problem was quite obvious, and I thank each of you for you shared knowledge and encouragement as this group has always been a great help to me!
The weather box for the outlet I bought was keeping the connector from seating completely and at an angle so one of the legs ground or neutral wasn’t making contact. I trimmed the edges of the box after the electrician proved the wirning for me and it has worked fine all weekend!
Dumb oversight in my troubleshooting!
