  • 2014 x3 double slide – any common areas of concern

Posted by Jason on July 25, 2024 at 9:41 am

Just joined and been reading threads. WOW there’s a lot of knowledge and experience here! Considering the jump from a class A to a Prevost conversion. We’re looking at a 2015 Marathon double slide (built on a 2014 chassis). 150,000 miles. Being sold by the converter directly. Is there any known areas of concern I should be keeping in mind when we go look at this coach for that chassis? I couldn’t find anything in my searching and I called Prevost and they didn’t have any comment on major service items at that mileage. Any guidance or thoughts would be appreciated.

    thank you

If purchasing from the manufacturer you should be in good hands. ALL of the manufacturers take great pride in not only their new products but also their previous builds.
Quality of build and customer support (even on 20 & 25 year old coaches) from all the major Prevost converters, and Prevost is a major reason we own Prevost.

Marathon offers a 6 month warranty (believe consignment is the exception)

Best suggestion would be to pick it up, then hit the road for a couple of months to discover warranty issues that cannot be found without travel and daily use. ENJOY – you will love it

Thanks for the replies! We head down to see it next week. If all goes well, I’ll have a lot more questions! All the best.
