2011 Newell Gen Overheat
I have a Aqua Hot customer that his shop is close to me in Paso Robles that I go out and work on his AHE 675-DE3 Aqua Hot. His shop is for his trucking business. I drove in the rear of shop where his bus is and one of his mechanics was working on his generator up front of bus.The generator is a Yanmar diesel. He said the generator overheated and burned a hole in one of the pistons, He rebuilt engine and he was testing it sounds good. Why! did that happen? I thought the generators had sensors the shut down engine if it got hot low oil PSI built into the gen’s ??? His mechanics did not talk very highly of the Newell’s he said he liked Prevost much better.
