Reading this reminded me…How did the SPAM FEST go at the “Know Your Prevost 1” school? Wasn’t Jon supposed to teach Prevost and LEARN Spam cookin’ 101? I know a lot of folks learned a lot about Prevost while there for the three days, but did Jon learn SPAN cuisine?

No Spam was seen by me. Hard to believe any food source could make it by me undetected. Perhaps the Administration learned how delightful and in how many ways Spam can be enjoyed and it was previously devoured or maybe they are holding out until Al is available to show their true gratitude. -

My first foray into the world of spam eating did not go well.
I have since learned there are numerous methods to make spam edible. I have been banking this advice in my memory for that time when I am willing to try again. Let it be understood by all that until I moved south I thought grits was what was spread on the highways in the winter for traction on snow covered roads. I find it must be like spam in that it cannot be ingested in its natrural state. It involves a degree of cooking prowess along with a detailed list of additives to supplement or hide the taste.
So knowing spam is related to grits in the sense that it is inedible unless modified I am girding my loins for a second attempt at eating it. I may in fact go so far as to have grits as one of my sides to go along with it.
