1st trip
Well we left beautiful Stuart FL Friday about noon and arrived home (Springfield, MO) around 2 o’clock this afternoon. 1,150 miles and driving our new (to us) Liberty was a dream. I can’t express enough how valuable the time we spent at Liberty was. We were advised by several on this site to take our time during the delivery and not rush getting on the road. Great advice. Every question was answered and every issue resolved. We were never rushed or made to feel it was time to go. I am so impressed with how this bus goes down the road. It feels so tight and so solid. The craftsmanship is second to none. I am a custom cabinet maker by trade so I really appreciate the quality of the coach. And it’s 11 years old! By the time we got home I was starting to feel more comfortable with the location of the switches and how things operate. Never once did I have to drive in the left lane just because the right lane was to rough. If you can’t tell yet, I’m like a kid who just got the best Christmas present ever ;-). Thanks to all for their advise and the nice comments.

Now when someone asks you if there is a real difference between a Prevost and fiberglass, you will have the answer. There is NO comparison…

I never had even stepped into a conventional motor home prior to buying our first Prevost. So for 20 years I had folks tell me how well a Prevost handles and how easy it is to drive.
About 2 years ago I had an opportunity to drive a high end conventional motorhome and I can now know exactly what Dean is saying about his new Prevost. And I can say this with confidence, while it doesn’t seem possible, each succeeding Prevost I have had has driven and handled better than the preceding one.
Congratulations Dean. I know you are going to really enjoy it.
