Dan at Royale Phoenix helped identify the switch.
The coach was built with instahot and the units had switches originally installed under the sink to turn on or off the instahot.
Seems there was complaints that the switch was being accidentally turned on by moving items under the sink and consequently burning out the instahot unit. Obviously that happen at some time as there is no instahot unit and only a fresh water drinking faucet.
As a result of this issue They began to relocate the switch to the overhead cabinet. He had me look under the sink and behind a jut out in the base cabinet I found a receptacle which is controlled by the switch.

So interesting I have Royale 232 and don’t have that switch on mine. We have the instahot with the switch in the cabinet under the sink which probable explains why mine does not work. Our units were born very close together.

I have an 05 Royale, and the instahot water which I don’t use. But because the instahot on my coach does not go through the inverters, if I need additional heat I plug an electric heater in the instahot receptacle.

Talking to Dan at Royal Phoenix which actually was a person building Royal Coaches the switch was a change as it evolved in the 97 t0 98 plus years. People complained and the switch was moved with out a specific date for when it was moved. It was also for a garbage disposal if so equipped. So no guarantee as to the specific reason for the switch based on ordered options.
