Has anyone used synthetic fluid in their Allison Transmission? If so what brand?

Don’t know what model Allison you have but in my 755CR 1991 XL, Prevost Fort Worth put Transynd in mine.

We’ve used synthetic ATF for 10+ yrs in all of our Allison trannys. Currently we have Mobil Delvac 1 synthetic ATF in our Allison B500.

Here are the ones that Allison approves:

    Allison Approved TES 295 Fluids:

    Castrol TranSynd

    BP Autran Syn 295

    BASF Emgard 2805

    International Trucks Fleetrite Synthetic ATF

    Mobil Delvac 1 Synthetic ATF

    CNH HD Synthetic ATF

    Mack Bulldog Synthetic ATF

    Shell Spirax S6 ATF A295

Oh NAPA sell the Mobil Delvac Synthetic 1. Should a bit of a discount with our Napa card. How many gallons does B500 hold off top of someone’s head. Trans service is part of our Prevost service visit next month

31 qts is what the Allison service tip #1099H indicates for the 4000 series w/2″ sump which is about the same as our B500. When I did ours it was around 7 gals.
