I believe they are powered via the Allen Bradley PLC system. Open the electric bay and look to the rear and notice the red LED lights. Have someone alternately turn the light switch on and off while you look at that light panel.

It might be one of those tiny relays is bad and if so the LED that is flashing on and off will show you which relay is bad. If that is the case swap with another, or better yet if you have a spare replace it.

Report back so other Liberty owners can use this advise or ignore my future posts.

Are you referring to the led light above each relay or to a group of lights?

I think I only gave one light that comes on but it doesn’t blink. Will try again.

Also, I’m still looking for the electrical diagram. Have tried Liberty but they don’t have it going to our coach.

Nick, if the problem is a relay it is a two person diagnosis.

One person has to continuously turn the failed lights on or off, while the second watches for a blinking red LED over the relay. To verify it is a relay failure, swap with one on a circuit that works. If the LR lights still do not work it is not the relay.

Are your living room lights controlled by a push switch or rotary dimmer? Or maybe I should be asking how they are controlled?

Joel made me think of something. If you’ve converted your incandescent ceiling lights to LED the dimmer on pad that’s immediately behind the driver’s seat doesn’t work well with most LED lights. The dimmer needs to be turn full up for the LED ceiling lights to work. Someone might have inadvertently futzed with the dimmer and which could have rendered the ceiling lights inoperable.

Otherwise, the advice and counsel you’re getting from Jon W is exactly what I would do … but I have yet to do it in our Elegant Lady coach.

My point is this; with my oem setup, I believe I have a living room light touch pad on my touchscreens which must be on before the lights can be operated by the rotary dimmers….ie both switches must be on. If the touch pad has been inadvertantly shut off, which has happened to me, lights no workie.

Checked the relay associated with the Living Room lights and replaced. All good now.
