my experience is that they may all be different based upon the converter. List the converter and perhaps someone with the same converter and vintage will weigh in.

The conversion will make a difference in the belts. Mine is a 95/96 XL Vantare with Prevost AC. The two belts to the AC are BX 97. The three belts to the fan box are AX74. The wide belt to the fan is 5100510 and the belt to the water pump and the alternator is 5120720.

The numbers were worn off of the belts when I bought the bus so I stopped at Prevost Nashville and they looked at my set up and knew what I needed. Go ahead and buy two sets and keep one set for a spare. You will be glad you did if you break one in the middle of no where.

On my 2000 its AX73s (takes 3) to the fanbox and BX97s (Qty 2) to the compressor. B31 and B32s to the various extras the converter installed. The wide belts are the same as above ..

Replaced them two days ago when one of the AX73s let go and took out its neighbors while on the road … Noticed the Jake stopped working and the temp rises .. glad it didn’t happen in the 100+ summer!

BTW, Gates (and other brands) are available on Amazon for a lot less than NAPA charges ..

FWIW… be careful of buying belts on the internet with cheap prices. Old stock parts are all over the internet.

Dried out belts will not last long. Lots of this come from jobbers going out of business unable to return stock to distribution centers, because it’s old.

Buying smart from NAPA inquiring if dual or tripple belts are available in matched pairs. This is a advantage getting 2 belts tested at the factory for stretch equal together. A great idea born from customers comments and we noticed less new belt failures with this available option.

I’ll get off my NAPA soap box …..but I believe worth telling the story.

NAPA should be very competitive on price using the PC-NAPA card..
