  • 1991 XL OTR Hoses

Posted by Archived on August 6, 2018 at 8:05 am

Tracted down a leak in my system that has only gotten worse hose with nitrogen under front behind bumper. It’s gonna be a pita to get to but things are never easy on these puppies. Where do you Boys buy your hoses? Would guess a hose shop could build one but would have to make sure it’s good with freon. Will call Prevost this AM and check with them. Thought I’d change out the expansion valve while I had it down.

You can build your own lines? Do search for “A/C hose crimping tools”, like:

    crimping tool link amazon

    or

    MasterCool Crimping Kit link

Thanks Guys. Gonna call and see if somebody builds them close to 78639.

70 miles due West of Austin Tx. If I bought the tool would just have another tool laying around. Of course, that wouldn’t be a bad thing.

Thanks for the tip on Vintage. Just picked up a 1965 Mustang Coupe at auction and they look like the go to guys for retro cars.

Yep, I have a 51 Chevy PU. I bought a Gen4 system for it. Just need to make the time to install it.

And they are within driving distance for you.
