17.5 KW Powertech Generator Basler Voltage Reg
My generator, 8 years ago was intermittent charging so I replaced the voltage regulator as per Powertech, I bought a Basler Electric regulator on line and after I got it working I bought a no name one, Gen has been working great and George Had had same issue as me and bought a cheap knock off and did not work well so he bought a Balser brand and problem went away, I like to keep back up parts so I see on Ebay a couple of Balser brand for $65 bucks they say Balser on them but looks a little different, pots are black my old one is blue pots how can you tell a fake knock off

Art did you ever find out, Im interested in this as well. I did see some guys bought after market and the start voltage was above 5v so it wouldnt start

I got a Flight Systems about 3 years ago and it works prefectly. They make a wide range of control boards for many different systems.
Call and they are very responsive.
