15 amp shore power problem
I’m trying to store my 2002 Marathon XLV and the storage place only has 15 amp plug in. Set both Trace inverters to expect 7 amp shore power inputs(per Marathon manual instructions) – plug in and as soon as I close shore power breaker on bus, the GFI on the shore power outlet trips. Called Marathon and they said if shore power outlet has a GFI this will always happen. Something about how they use reference lead.
Anyone else had this problema or know a solution? Problem is now I have no shore power and batteries drain even with 12 and 24 volt disconnects and both inverters shut off.

A GFCI protected circuit will trip. Can you replace the receptacle with a non GFCI?

Unless you are powering the coach from 2 different and out of phase inputs, you should be able to power the coach from 1 15A GFCI protected circuit. Try to turn off the breakers to anything 220 powered and see if that works. If not, turn off all breakers except one battery charger and give it a try.
If nothing works, and you can get to the breaker, change the GFCI outlet to a regulat outlet. If you ask to change the outlet the owner should say no as the GFCI outlet is required if it’s outside.

I think a regular outlet is going to be required because if I understand the problem our transfer switches are the issue.

Last year I had same problem change out plug for no gfi and problem solved
