    14L Detroit oil pressure

    I have an 06 Prevost Chassis with a 14L Detroit…what is normal oil pressure range? Mine looks like about 35 or 40 LB range going down the highway….is that in range?

    That is typical.

    DDA states 1.5 psi per 100 rpms.

    I have a Nexiq reader (for all three buses with appropriate DDEC software) and my analog gauge shows a little south of 50 PSI, but the reader has shown 53 PSI on both my 12.7L and my 14L engines.
