  • 12v coil for ride height stem valve

Posted by Marius on January 11, 2015 at 7:21 pm

    Good evening,

As I chase the leaks and fix them, I decided to atack front and center the Ride height situation….

The previsous owner changed the 3rd down stem valve ( Pn 641928) , for Road Height level, ordered 2, so I have a spare but the bus still would not go to road height from any position in Manual mode or Auto…

I took the coil off, exchanged it with the coil from the valve right above, flipped the switch and voila…it works. I have a bad coil. It is a 12V coil. Took some of the others apart to look for a part number but nothing on it other than 12V 0.65A, pressure, temp etc- no part number.

Does anybody know the part number for the 12v coil ?

I know that the 24v coild from Prevost is 641929

    Thank you

    Marius

It would help if you added a signature to include your converter and year.

The only place I know to get 12v valves and coils is at Liberty, Prevost won’t have them.

Now that you said “valves and colis “….are there valves made for 24 v coils and different ones with the same design and features but made for 12V coils ?

The valves ordered were from Prevost which would be normally mated to 24V coils…..Liberty does the 12V conversion but I thought only the coils voltage had to be observed so that it works properly not the valve itself.

    Am I wrong ?
