12 volt generator fan quit
High engine temp shut down gen. 12vt electric fan was pulsating up and down, then would quit and come back on lower than full strength. Changed 12vt relay in control panel and same result.
Anything else to check other than assume 12vt electric fan is bad?

Yours may still have a control module for the fan…It would be most likely on the ceiling of the electrical bay….You should have a fan over ride switch in the bay also, near buddy plug. Over ride the fan and verify fan runs fine. The control module was there to have a variable fan depending on temp of the gen….We are now removing them and wiring the system differently

Checked and no other controls in the compartment for fan operations other than 12 volt relay… will,replace plastic fan attached to rear of radiator.

changed fan as appears to have resolve the problem…
