07 Liberty H345 Allen Bradly computer problem
Posted by Wilton on February 7, 2015 at 7:44 pmI am trying to figure out how to find out witch output relay card works my hall lights . They will not go off when the lighting master is turned off. I think the relay in one of the cards is stuck.
Of all the Liberty’s we have owned this is the first A/B computer problem we have had.
Thanks

this will be the dimmer card more than likely not A/B

I have the same problem with some of the bedroom lights after checking several things Jeff suggested I just ended up taking the bulbs out until I can make it to his shop… luckily they are lights that are in the bedroom ceiling right in front of the vanity but not the vanity lights there are just 3 of them they are the G4 type… they would not turn off but they would dim and get bright… I finally removed the bulbs after not being able to find the right fuse for them or a way to reset them.
Any ideas anyone??

Jeff may be correct, but to rule out the relay I would just pull the relay that has the red light lit above it. If there is no red light, keep switching the light on and off at the switch or Crestron and whichever red light is going on or off is the offender. Pull the relay and replace it with a known good one.
I have had a problem with lights not going off and it was the A-B relay. I now carry a box of them.
If it is the card that’s going to be a PITA to replace

I know, I know, they have pills for that now. But, I am talking about a bulb.
It is the bulb over the entrance door, which goes on for a short period of time, when you open the door to enter the coach and then goes off automatically.
sometime ago, all of a sudden, it stopped working. In as much that the light will not go off.
I was unable to come up with a solution, so I removed the bulb.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Ronald

Jon , It appears that the relays with the red light does not control the lights that are not working. I took my remote chrestron down into the bay and the only indicator light i could see going of and on when pushing the button was one in the Allen B card marked ” Output / D C voltage”. This card has ik about 16 lights the one that works when the button is pushed is #4.

I think we might be talking about 2 different systems, or at least a system that is arranged different than my vintage Liberty. My bad. I should know better.

Jon , it turns out the dimmer module was the problem , there are two of them that work the dimming of the lights mostly in the ceiling. I’m trying to find a complete schematic of the 2nd bay port side so i can identify these components.
I have owned a couple of Liberty Classic coaches and sometimes i think it was a lot less stress to maintain than these Chrestron land locked space ships.
Who knows maby its the gray hair !! -
Jeff, you were dead on,it was the dimmer module down below the relays.
-
Jeff do you think that might be my problem too? Mine do dim and brighten but don’t turn off.

I do not believe yours are on a dimmer card that you are having a problem with….Do you remember if you could ever dim them before?
-
I didn’t know that they dimmed until they would not turn off…. they do dim now but don’t think the did before.
