The wheel is the easy part. Lot’s of chrome shops sell this model. Which hub to use is the hard part. I used a Freightliner hub on mine. The wheel and hub are sold seperately.

On my 95 you wouldn’t be able to clear the turn signal lever. I wonder if there is a way to space it up 3 inches . I’ll have to look into that

    Don,

Raneys truck parts has a good selection. They even have some carbon fiber ones if you want to save a little weight.

Rocky … that would really help weight balance on Marathons and other conversions with the generator up front.

I wonder if the http://chromedepot.com/ has anything like this? Does the http://chromedepot.com/ have experience in retrofitting a Prevost with an updated steering wheel?

Jeff, I bought a deep dish steering wheel from VIP for my 1998 Prevost XL. They installed a long collar to clear the turn signal lever. VIP is located in Elk Grove Il, north of Chicago.

We sell that exact four spoke wood model. You can also get it in a two spoke version We are a dealer for “Steering Creations”. The wheel is sold separately from the hub. The wheel retails for around $1500 and the hubs run from $500 to $1000 depending on which hub is needed.( I will have to look & see which hub I used on my bus) This wheel is imported from Taiwan. We also can get wheels from Italy for lots more money.
