Replacement of caliper pin dust covers-front axle
While doing routine service I noticed the rubber bellows had split open on caliper pin linkage back side of both front wheels. The rubber bellows protects the slide pins from dirt and dust. If this is left open to the elements at some point a caliper would need removal for rebuilding.
Prevost parts no longer packages bellows as a seperate item. The kit available is around $70.00 to get a bellows worth probably no more then $6-8.00. The kits were on sale at this time for $55.00 each side.
With the aid of special pliers ($15.99) made espicially for CV joint clamps both belows were replaced.

Both bellows were OK 6000 miles ago.
