Posted by Archived on October 5, 2012 at 10:26 am

We are pleased to be able to announce our first Prevost Community rally will be in Branson, MO with a scheduled arrival date of October 14, 2013 and a departure date of October 19, 2013.

As soon as possible we will be posting the planned agenda and rally costs along with the specific RV park. The rally will include seminars and lots of entertainment and good food.

Mark your calendars and plan to attend. Since space is limited those who sign up early will get the best RV park sites.

Keep checking here for additional rally information. If this rally is well attended we can all expect some great seminars and support for our coaches.

    Sid,

We will announce the RV park soon. We are struggling at deciding between two of them. If you have an opinion, lets us know. It may help. An email on that might be best.

Dates are 10/14 to 10/19 next year.

Jon, I’ve stayed at ABC campground the last four years but this year I’m staying at the KOA since the prevost prouds said it was so nice. they had there rally there a couple of weeks ago. I’m heading there Oct. 17 and will let you know then. ABC pull thrus are a little tight and are not to level. The people are great!!!!!!!

Sid, you have defined the problem Tom and I are having with deciding the site for the rally. ABC lacks the finished appearance of the KOA which has improved quite a bit since our last time there, but ABC has people that seem to want to do whatever it takes to make a good rally, while lacking the type of sites most Prevost owners expect.

Any other comments from PC members?

Choice of park for rally 2013 FWIW….

People could come and go in a year, park could change owners.

My comfort zone is bus safety, good electric, level sites, no tree issuesI Looked on RV park reviews and found comments about un-level sites at ABC mentioned often.

I guess I am partial to nice level, wide sites with not too many trees to either scratch the coach or inhibit satellite reception. Another consideration is good stable power! Which of these campgrounds meet these items?

Tom and I have selected the site for the 2013 Prevost Community rally. It will be held at the KOA in Branson.

    http://bransonkoa.com/

Like all RV parks in Branson the KOA is no exception in that not all sites are Prevost friendly. The terrain in Branson is not level and as a result long level sites are limited. Now that we know the RV park we are going to work quickly to establish our budget and as soon as the agenda and rally price has been decided you can sign up. The earliest signups will get the best sites. If you wish to park with friends you will all need to sign up early and togther.

Visit this thread often. We will post all rally information here as soon as it is known.

I’m going to be there in a couple weeks and will take few pictures after I’m park and will try to post them?? If I can’t I’ll text them to Tom and maybe he will post them. Jon didn’t want to exclude you but I believe you don’t like doing that stuff right?? lol

Send them to me Sid, he still uses two tin cans and string to communicate.

I can do all of that stuff, but by pleading ignorance I get Tom to do all the work.

I sold my two cans and a string. The string broke and the string provider wanted another 2 year contract to replace it.

Just spent a week at Branson KOA and it was great!! The new part of the park is really nice and can accommodate a lot of coaches! The staff there are #1 .

You can post them Sid, but either Tom or I can do it for you.

The sites early registrations will get are those closest to the “convention” center. Later registrations will get the best of the remaining sites that are suitable for a Prevost. I hope your photos can show the various sites so everyone knows the importance of signing up as soon as we can post the agenda and cost.

The KOA needs us to commit to sites within a time frame we are still negotiating, after that we have to release them so late registrations can only get sites if they are available and suitable for a Prevost. As soon as we conclude the final negotiations with the KOA and are operating with a signed contract we will post the costs and agenda, and with almost a year to plan and set aside time to attend all who want to should be able to be accomodated if they sign up early.

Sid, let us know if the park has spaces available ir if it is full. That is influencing the decisions we are making.

I just got on this site and would really love to go next year to the PC community but it looks like all the nice sites Premium and Luxury are unavailable? Could there be a block reservation and I need to reserve through the community?
