I won’t go down that memory lane, even though it’s a funny story about Mango and Jdub, but Mango’s fuel pump did fail. We got an automotive electric fuel pump at a parts store as a temporaty measure and he later changed it out with a new gen pump when he got back home.

If it works, I wouldn’t worry about it, you can always use a pump like we did for a temporary fix if your in the boonies.
