Well, congratulations — a beautiful coach! Hope to see you in January. Curious who your insurance company is and whether they do right by you.

Congratulations on your new coach. Think of all the extra space you need to fill up, compared to your other one.

    Dan and Judy,

Congrats on new bus. It should lessen the pain somewhat from losing the other coach. Hope we get to see you this winter in Florida so you can show it off.

Thanks all, like I said before , we’re excited.

Rocky, I will probably miss the stainless, but now I don’t have to buy one of those $750 buffers that Mark Marlin has.

Jon, I’ve been in touch with Al, when we pick it up we’re planning on stopping by his place for a day or two and he’s going to show me the nuances of a Marathon. Oh and by the way, he said to call him ANYTIME (24-7) he’ll probably regret that……

And Dick, I’ve seen that pic, that combine is similar to one of ours. Not sure how ya flip one!!!!

Kirby, we dealt with the Prius driver’s insurance company, it was State Farm. The final settlement wasn’t quite up to what I had it insured for, but close enough that I could choke it down.

Congrats Dan & Judy, you bought a good one. BA spared no expense in getting that bus up to snuff, but when you visit, don’t expect help with washing, he’ll set in a lawn chair and watch while criticizing the job. He does offer DI water, but it comes at a price, usually BBQ.

Would you be willing to share the insurance experience and how a non Prevost insurance company approached the value? We discuss this all the time and caution about a non agreed policy.

Great looking Bus! Congrats and enjoy!

What is the stainless piece ahead of the entrance door? I assume its a wind deflector, if it is, and helps with wind/door noise, I would love to have one.

    Dan,

Excellent choice to get training from the man. Too many buyers ignore that part and they never seem to get caught up with what they should know.

You will find a big difference from your CC to the Marathon, but once you understand the coach life is going to get very good and you and the Redhead are really going to enjoy it.

I think it is great Al is willing to pay for the first tank of fuel plus honor that 5 year warranty.

Jerry, The chrome air deflectors were made at Marathon Coberg location. Mike is the head of the parts dept and if you send him a Pic …. he’ll know what your talking about.

If you need a pic e-mailed, let me know.

Come with double stick tape for install which I left in place. Just for securing permanently I drilled 4 small holes and used shinny head stainless screws holding in place.

The angle shape pushed wind and rain away from side windows.
