Great job Tom and Jon, site looks good.
I believe that there is a problem with your system as I couldn’t find a spot to insert my 100 dollars!

So:: my name is Bob. I’m a do it your self type. Doing my 5th conversion. Why because I like to build. This one is a 98 XLE Mods Eaton 10 speed auto three slides bath and a half and many other out of the box ideas. I feel like the Clampets in the company of the factory coaches. Well–guess someone has to be on the bottom looking up. Will share what little I do know. Bob

Welcome Bob,
I’m sure you have a wealth of hands on information that will
interest everyone. Many of us have older coaches and are in the process of continuous
upgrades. It’s difficult enough to maintain a coach, being the converter
yourself sounds like a major challenge. -
Bob,
Glad to see you have joined us. There is one thing we want to do with this site is to bring together the wide range of owners, operators and drivers of conversion coaches. We all have experiences and knowledge to share and we all can learn from the experiences of others.
As John pointed out only a few of conversion coaches ever go through life without modifications over time. Whether someone is starting from a seated coach, or just bought the latest Marathon conversion, it is almost a sure bet those coaches will be modified and we all learn from others what works and what doesn’t and how to maintain what we have.
You may find yourself to be our resident slide expert. There are a lot of Prevost coaches with slides now in operation, and those slides are not only from Prevost, but from a variety of manufacturers. You may be the only owner that has built his own slides and your success at doing so may influence others. I hope you will share your knowledge and experience.

A few operating Questions???? Direct me to How to post pictures I’m doing ceiling/with led light trays– in 98 now that might be of intrest to some. Would it be best to list under which heading? Bob

What is this of which you speak? Little sister to Liberty perhaps? Cousin?

Bob,
Saw your post with your bus as a triple slide. I for one can’t wait to see the pixs on that conversion. After spending close to 2 years on Prevost sites here is the example of new guys bringing something special, something new, something of interest,. a major remodel and it’s a hobby.
Looking forward to seeing what you have updated on your bus. Thanks for joining

Bob,
You have clearly stirred up some interest. To post a picture look at the tools when you get the screen for posting a reply. To the left of the you tube image is a scenic picture. Click on that and a box will drop down.
In that box click on “upload” and it will pull up a page on your computer where you can locate the photos you want to load in the reply. Select the photo and then you should see it in the preview screen on the drop down box. Click OK and it should load on the reply. Then you can add narrative, add more pictures or do what you want until you decide to “post reply”.
If you have trouble let us know and somehow we will see if we can walk you through the process. I figured it out so you sure can do it.
I forgot to mention, please spread the word among the other converters such as yourself because we all are going to benefit from our diversity of ideas and conversion backgrounds.

Tom & Jon – thanks for creating Prevost Community! This could be the start of something big! The forum looks great and seems user friendly. I can’t wait to see the rest of the modules as they come online! I wish you every success with the site and stand ready to help in any way I can!
