If you read the site everyday like your suppose to you would know I’m now in Montana. Those Viper fume’s from trying to race Corvette’s is starting to get to you.

3000 wash & wax, slides will be more and I didn’t want anyone on the roof, so that was not included. I have never paid to have a bus washed or waxed because I do my own, but no regrets, worth every dime.

You could have had a coach with slides for that much more than you paid for that bus, and Nancy would have been so happy she would have waxed it.

Here is the old fart bus cosmetics progression. I am purposely not attaching age ranges to the various stages so I don’t get emails.

Stage I….Owner washes bus by hand using soft towels, a tall step ladder, and then dries the whole coach. When done he polishes the raw aluminum wheels by hand. That is followed by a full coach wax job, including the roof.

Stage II…Owner gets a de-ionizer and pressure washes coach and lets it air dry. No use of a ladder is made. Wheels are only occasionally polished. Coach doesn’t get waxed.

Stage III…Owner only spot cleans with pressure washer. Dragging that long hose around requires too much energy. Wheels get polished at rallies by Dazzling Detail crew.

Stage IV…Owner sits on his ass and watches hired crew wash and wax coach, and use a whole bottle of tire shine on six wheels.

Stage V…Owner doesn’t even take the time to watch the crew wash and wax the coach. Too much trouble. Golf on TV is more interesting.

Tom is somewhere between Stages IV and V.

Montana already !!!!! You must be in an awful big hurry to buy another coach to be moving that fast. 65 miles an hour my a%&. Besides which ,I have been in the black holes ( electronics wise) at monument valley and Moab. We just arrived in cheyenne for the night and will be at spearfish tomorrow so there goes your free beer. The coach does look good though, nice and shiny exept for the wheels LOL. Too bad they arent chrome !!!!

How did I go directly to Stage V???

Years ago when I was on the road I used Streakin’ Beacon, (Blue
Beacon), to wash my work truck. I
assume you guys would not allow your coaches within a ¼ mile of a Streakin’
Beacon. Is this a correct assumption?

PS. This question does not apply
to Jon since he has always used a bucket and never allowed anyone else to wash
his coach.

thanks Tom for the recommendation. Went with the wash, wax and detail. Andrew did a great job.

I think red is going to upgrade his wash after serng the results on our 16 year old coach.
