I saw about the same on my 2016 Liberty (2015 shell) for increase in fuel mileage. I used about 2 gallons of DEF each 120-150 gallon fill of fuel. I had the old fan system. I got info from Prevost about upgrading to the electric fan, but it could not be done on my coach because they don’t cool the a/c condenser with the electric fans. They relocated it on the newer coaches to the passenger side 4th bay on an H if I remember correctly. It seems to be a beter way to go, as my fan runs almost all the time with the dash air compressor on. I know that is impacting the fuel consumption.

I had two coaches with the Detroit 60 series and the Volvo is better as far as I am concerned. Quieter and more fuel efficient.
