I want to sincerely express my gratitude to everyone in the Prevost community, and especially to those who offered feedback on this situation. It has never been my interest to post issues online – especially in a private community. In this case, I felt the need to warn others should they come in contact with not only the seller, but any virtual Prevost transaction that could render others vulnerable. As many of you noted, there is an infinite amount of scams online. While I now do not doubt that the coach is real, the way the sale was handled – extensive communication between the seller and myself, more than considerable financial expense on my end, and an unexpected cancellation / “decided not to sell” – was highly unethical. I don’t want to instigate any ongoing argument on this forum. I did respond to the seller’s post as I felt it was important to prove inaccuracies in his statement regarding the deposit. Yesterday he returned my deposit. I plan to privately handle any other communication regarding my additional expenditures in this transaction. You all are a fantastic group and I am very appreciative of everybody’s input and those that have shared their own experiences with fraudulent transactions online. Regardless of what, where, and how, we help each other by sharing and preventing future negative experiences.
