Like others I did not have an opportunity to meet Peter in person. It looks like I missed by one week. I had been at Jeff’s the week before Peter’s visit. Like others, I always read and reread Peter’s posts to glean more knowledge about our coaches. My youngest daughter works horses for a living so felt a kindred connection there.
None of us are guaranteed another hour on this wonderful orb He created. From Peter’s posts I could see he understood that and made the most of his time here with us. He is with the Lord now and at peace. My wishes to the family are for the peace that only comes from knowing the Lord descend on them and ease their grief.

Perhaps sending this thread to Trina might be the best way to show her the love we all had for Peter, wether we knew him in person or simply through this Community and his postings.

This is terrible news and shocking as Peter was an inspiration to many of us!!!! Our 2003 Liberty coaches were several serial numbers apart and we spoke on the phone a number of times … He walked me through issues, calmed my nerves and provided much needed “Guidance and Encouragement” when i needed it most…
He will be deeply missed and remembered by many for the “straight talking, no non sense, tell it like it is ” – person he was…. A great loss for not only our group but all he taught and knew him in the horse training trade…
Our thoughts, prayers and good memories go out to all of his family !!

So sorry to hear this. He ws a special person for sure. Touched many lives. Always invited us up to plug in and go over any issues we had with our old coach. Rest In Peace Peter.

I am truely saddend by this news. Peter came into our shop a year or so ago and from the moment I met him, I knew I would like him. His no non-sense attitude was something I found refreshing. I have kept in touch with him through text every few months or so and really enoyed reading his texts. He was a wealth of knowledge in many aspects, and it was great to listen to bit of his knowledge when I could. I will miss his friendship and his support of A.F. At the end of the day, Peter was just a good dude! Plain and simple.

Hard to believe the news of Peter’s passing. Our travels never crossed with each other but reading all of the above posts truly shows how many lives this man had contact with. Surely his business contacts would make the bus people a very small group.

I am so sad to hear this news. I was at ETLC recently and was having a conversation with Dan. (Dan and Barb from Illinois) I made the comment that I was amazed at how unpretentious and down to earth Prevost owners were. His immediate response was “You have to meet Peter. He’s a bit intimidating when you first see him but he’s the nicest guy you will ever meet. You can’t miss him, he looks like the Marboro Man.” It’s very telling that when speaking of great people Peter immediately came to Dan’s mind. It was obvious that Dan was very fond of Peter. I regret that I never had the chance to meet him. He definitely made an impact on those who did.
My thoughts go out to his friends all across the country and especially his family during this difficult time.

We met Peter and his wife Trish at Liberty when we were both taking delivery of “new to us ” coaches, he had many interesting stories and a wealth of knowledge about coaches and horses.

I was always amazed at the depth of Peter’s knowledge. I know he is missed by all. Condolences to his family.

I learned of his passing yeaterday and am in disbelief…
Peter was a precious soul… so hard to believe he is gone… but he will not be forgotten… he loved people and would give you the shirt off his back in a heart beat…. such an amazing soul.
Our prayers for Trina and the family as they struggle through this devastating time.

Pam and I are saddened by the news of Peters passing. Our heartfelt condolences go to his wife and family. Our condolences also go out to the many people of this forum that Peter so graciously helped.
i am also sad that I was never able to meet Peter in person. From the kind words posted, I imagine him a very personable instructor and very down to earth man. I am grateful that Pam & I were able to learn from him via this forum. His many posts provided a wealth of information, advice and honest feedback. I sincerly hope those posts remain on the site for future Prevost folks to learn from.

Like everyone, I’ve been in shock for the past few days after learning of Peter’s passing. I never met Peter nor talked to him on the phone, yet I feel like I just lost a best friend. So much has been said about his willingness to help and his knowledge will certainly be missed on this forum. I can only think that in years to come, so many of you will be saying to yourself, “What would Peter do?”.
I’ve followed Peter’s schedule for the past few years. It’s amazing how often he answered questions on this forum in a timely fashion while he was on the road conducting his horsemanship seminars.
I spent the past two days Googling articles and reviews of his horsemanship seminars and watching Peter and Trina videos on YouTube. What a man! His circle of influence is much bigger than most of us can imagine. He certainly leaves one heck of a legacy. Peter will not be forgotten, for sure.
