New Pressure Pro Pulse FX Coming Soon
Posted by Archived on January 30, 2018 at 10:14 amPressure Pro is nearing the completion of the new Pulse FX that will work with an app via Bluetooth to your mobile device. This will be a great improvement and will eliminate the need for a stand alone monitor such as the Pulse or the earlier Legacy. The new FX Repeater should be available in 60 to 90 days and then the system can be ordered.
I will keep everyone informed and let you know when you can order the new system from me.

Shit………..again I am suffering from discrimination against my flip phone.
Next rally or show I am going to equip my coach with a jammer that will screw up every phone within 1/4 mile. Then we will see how this fancy stuff is such a good idea.

Note to self……..keep wise ass remark about Jon’s flip phone for another occasion…..check

I think a “jammer” may be beyond the technical capabilities of Jon. Everyone’s safe!

I would have the coach equipped with one right now except I think it would end up biting me in the butt.
All these folks I am sharing the road with that are busy texting, watching Netflix, adjusting their home thermostats, etc. would go crazy if their signal was jammed and then they would be paying even less attention to what would appear to be driving.

What is the old Pressure Pro trade in bringing these days!!!!!!!!!!!
I’ll round up enough old ones here at Jeff’s place that might equal a new one.

I think you all will be happy, the new FX is suppose to be cheaper than the Pulse.

Tom,
Do you know if the new pressure pro will display on a multi media device that has bluetooth? Is there any addition info on the system and release date? I am looking forward to getting one of these from you. Thanks. Jeff

I have no clue what “blue tooth” is or how Pressure Pro provides information to it.
What I do know however is there is a huge benefit to having tire information in your direct line of sight. Over the time I have had the Pressure Pro I have had a number of alerts. Fortunately none were reporting a real issue and they were resolved by reprogramming limits or correcting a sensor issue. But they could have been real and in that case I was thankful for the audible alert and the display immediately showing the issue that was reported.
If blue tooth means the alerts go to your phone it would be important to have the phone in full view.

If the product has an iOS and Apple Watch App, it’s entirely feasible the notifications could come to your wrist. It will be interesting to see where they are going with this next generation of products.

I stress full view because in the coach things can draw your attention such as noises, conversation, dealing with traffic issues (assuming you are not already talking on the phone, in which case you aren’t dealing with traffic issues), and other distraction. Whatever device you depend on to provide Pressure Pro alerts needs to be loud enough to not be ignored or in full view.

Jeff,
I talked to my Distributor today and they are still working out some bugs in the app. I’ll keep everyone posted as this moves forward. Thanks for the reminder.
FYI – If you don’t have a TPMS you can always buy the Legacy system, it’s inexpensive and works well.

Thanks Tom!
Jon, I am currently looking to upgrade our dash radio to a multi media device with a 7 inch screen. They have bluetooth just like a phone. The idea is to be able to play music, view rear view camera, do navigation, and hopefully view the pressure pro all on one device. I dread strapping a bunch of after market crap around the cockpit. Its not anywhere near as sophisticated as the newer coach technology but it would atleast get me into the current century. If it ends up to be too much going on with the one device I will use my phone for the Pressure Pro. What ever i do the point is well taken about visibility of the PP display and being able to hear it. I am hoping it will function by muting any media that is playing and sound the alarm throungh the speakers just like navigation does. Thanks.
Andy, That’s an excellent idea with the apple watch! Personally I have just begun to understand my Android S5 and moving to an apple product at this point would be challenging.
