New Marathon Owner
Posted by Ed on March 10, 2018 at 5:03 amWe just signed a purchase agreement on our coach which is a 2000 Marathon #632. This site was a fantastic source of information to help with the purchase. A few things to do to make it ready in my minds eye to travel from Eugene Oregon to Texas. But a great coach purchased from Jim Bruce at Auto Networks Northwest.

Very nice Ed, Marathon builds a very nice bus and I’m sure you’ll be happy with it. I can tell you from my coach if you keep it 9 years you’ll almost get it broken in.
Many years of happy travels to you and yours Ed and good to have you here on the Forum. Just watch out for the dues, the word “Outrageous” comes to mind!

Ed & Dee. . . you have one of the best coaches Marathon built. We should know. It was our first Marathon. Congratulations! Hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Wow time flies George, I remember the day you traded it for a new coach while we were at Lake Toxiway for a Marathon Rally. I’m afraid to ask what year that was.
Good to her from you.

Tom,
Just don’t ask me if it was 2006!!! There are days when I wish we still had it. Barbara does enjoy the 2 slides; but I still favor #632.

Thanks everyone for your thoughts and welcoming arms. Dee and I are really going to enjoy this. When Mr. Ross order this coach he did some really unique customization. Not over the top lots of storage. Cruise Air Controls for Roof Airs. etc… And everything is still with the coach. Denny the second owner was very welcoming when I called him about it.
It really was a a well thought out coach when ordered. Great Service history.

This is so great to buy a bus and the guy who built it is right here on the Forum! I think that’s just way cool and maybe even pushing the envelope towards “The Ginchyest”!
