The fuel mileage is probably great and I really like the scull, but wonder how he stops it if the horses can’t hold back.
This is the perfect rig for Jon, he could grow his own feed, then catch the droppings in a net and put back on the garden for fertilizer. No depreciation or fuel expense and maintenance would be the occasional set of horse shoes.

I do not need a rig like that for purposes of collecting manure.
Plenty is being spread here.
My first reaction to the photo above was that represents the ultimate in downsizing.

Jon downsizing you could always get a pair of Clydesdales plenty of size.

I’m not the one downsizing. We have a number of senior citizens on PC that traded in their Prevost coaches to get SOBs and as those folks age even more the horse drawn RV is clearly in their future.
The end result is obvious. As these old farts age their ability to remember how to get home diminishes, so dobbin becomes their living, breathing, fertilizer making GPS.
