For all of us that have owned fiberglass coaches you know what flex is, alot of windshield problems cracks pop outs slide problems, one of my old RV customers had a new Winnebago Tour with full wall slide and he wanted me to adjust the slide because it was rubbing on the short wallbehinddrivers seat and it had a big scrape in glass from rubbing, I had him lower jacks and where it was hitting the gap was almost a inch wide, It moved that much, Jack instructions said put jacks down before slides are opened, so I told him leave it on it’s feet and bring slides out, then level coach problem was gone. Prevosti’m sure flex a little but not enough to even see problems even with slides I bet you can’t see gap problems. My Foretravel the door was sticky when it was twisted even a little.

The link above provided by Clint is the one I referred to.

The Prevost reports show considerable structural integrity. A chassis that flexes tends to have poor handling. Not all cases is flex bad however. A plane wing is designed to flex so structural integrity is based on function and need.

Don, how long does your bus sit between runs, and how do you drain your batteries down to 50% SOC?

These days our long trips occur in the spring and fall.
I take it for 40ish mile exercise runs once every month between trips.
When we get home from a trip the house batts aren’t at 100% since the house alternator operates at about 13.6v. So I just leave the 12v house master switch on for as long as it takes to lower the voltage to around 13.1 volts which is about 50%.

Got it, running it once a month is hardly in storage though is it? I think they recommend if you let the batteries sit for a year or 2 they should sit at 50%. I would say sitting at 50% for that short time is not as important as keeping them overcharged while on a trip.
