I’m glad Jeff picked this up, we threw in the towel because of all the problems previously discussed and just will not work for a structured event for PC.
Hopefully folks wanting to go to Petoskey will join in and you’ll have a good showing of PC members. If it works out, I may just swing by myself.

Debbie is gone thankfully, so maybe reservations will be better. I wouldn’t call the central reservations at Sun, that’s a real joke, call Petoskey direct.

As many of you know, we cancelled the PC 2019 Rally at Petoskey RV Resort due to the horrible service, lack of communication and attitude of the Manager and reservation system.
Since some had already made reservations, Jeff at ETLC picked up the slack and turned it into a Mini Rally for all those still wanting to go to Petoskey in August. So thanks to Jeff, a Mini Rally was born.
When: August 21 – 26, 2019
Where: Petoskey RV Resort, Petoskey, MI.

Ok, we’re in. Called the 231 348 2400# and talked to Barb, told her we were part of the PC crowd. She was initially surprised because she thought the “rally” had been cancelled. I told her some of us were still coming and we’d like to be parked in the same area, we’re parked a couple of spots down from Jeff. She was extremely pleased to hear the PC crowd was coming.

Imagine how big the PC crowd would have been if they had not been so difficult to deal with. Every PC member checking in should be reminding them of that.

We are in Petoskey for the next 3 nights. Knowing we would not be welcome at Hearthside or Petoskey RV resort (too old!) we are staying at the city campground. What a great site. $30/night and our view out the front window is nothing but Lake Michigan! Such a great site we added an additional night to our 2 night stay. OK, only 30 amp but it’s never going to top the mid-70’s so we will not run any A/C until bedtime to keep Momma cool!
If anyone is interested, see if you can get site 35 which is a pull through with no one in front of you. Awesome!

Shows ya how screwed up they are, 2 weeks ago I got 20 individual emails from them canceling the reserved sites in my name and wanted a cancellation fee for each site. I won’t say how that conversation went. They had all those sites reserved for our Rally and the current manager had no idea of what had happened and didn’t know it was cancelled. In all fairness, since Debbie is now gone, maybe it will be better. I did tell them some folks were still coming and not to cancel their reservations.
If you have any problems at all, just call Jeff, he’s the Wagon Master now.
