There is guy on you tube called the bus grease monkey. He only works on 2 cycle detroits. He is probably the best in the detroit mechanic in the nation. He is not an old tetired guy

He could do an inframe on your bus. He probably knows a good allison shop. Have the trans pulled and checked out. Be proactive and have some work done before you encounter problems.
