    From the input of another Prevost Commuity member I found out about the motor mount service bulletin and then purchased and installed the shim kit for my coach. Didn’t make much difference in the vibration but definitely reduced the shutter when the engine was shut down. The drive shaft was removed by Prevost Winter Garden to replace a bad universal joint then reinstalled, visual inspection from under the coach looks normal with no movement. Wheel bearing oil has been drained and replaced, Drivers tag wheel bearing cup or cap (sorry I don’t know the right terminology) was replaced with a plastic one in place of the standard metal one (metal one was not readily available). Could that be and issue? Both driver and passengers hub seals were replaced by Prevost Winter Garden.

    Have had other items you mentioned asked before, but not the hub seals, curious how that would be part of my vibration puzzle?

    This vibration search has been long and expensive, going to be a celebrated day when I do find the cause.

    When a drive shaft is removed or U joints replaced the position of the drive shaft has to match its position prior to removal. If it is misoriented that can contribute.

    The tightening of the nuts after hub seal replacement has to be according to the service manual so the bearings are not too tight or too loose. A bearing can fail if not properly tightened with the hub nut and a steer axle bearing can transmit a vibration to the steering wheel.

    Generally speaking our coaches just require maintenance or repairs to be as specified in the service manual. It is not difficult to do things right as we can see with the mounting of tires.

    A lot of times when you change the ride height vales they might not get the coach

    at the correct height this will cause the driveline to be on the wrong angle this

    will cause vibration i would check to see if the coach is at the right height.

    Your drive-line should have the Cross of each Universal joint in line with each other, if the drive line was removed for a joint replacement and the two shafts not aligned to each other on the sliding spline joint when re-assembled they could be out of phase, this can set up a vibration , worth a look
