Tom, It looks like you used the old TV space for your fridge. Was that the original size or did you enlarge it? I’d like to upgrade my bay TV to a Flat screen since the inside ones are already upgraded. An outside fridge would be even better for the obvious reasons. Did you do it or have someone do it? Also, where did you get your tv bracket? I would need to modify mine to go on top of my cabinet since there’s no room to close the bay door if I simply put a bracket on front.

I did the job myself and searched for a fridge with the correct dimensions. There was no modifying of the cabinet. The TV mount is from Mor Ryde, # TV40-011H. It’s designed for side mounting, but I used it as a below cabinet. I’m in the process of adding a cooling fan for the fridge, then I’m all done.

When you say cooling fan for the fridge, do you mean something to suck the warm air away as well as sucking cooler air in?
-
Yep, 12v Dayton with an adjustable snap disc set on 90 to pull out the hot air.
Not to be confused with the hot air in certain parts of east TN!
-
My upper cabinet looks like your but its attached to a cabinet that has three drawers on each side. I would literally have to cut it in half. I don’t think I have enough room on top to make it work. Is that the original size of your cabinet?

Roger F, I think Tom has made a personal attack on you as being a hot air source from E TN.
-
Nice job Tom. I may borrow your idea as I’ve already done the same for the flat screen.
-
TG, it now looks like Tom has included you in the aspersions he is casting. He fails to realize E TN has a rather large contingent of owners, including the temporary E TN residents in Vonore.
We may have to gang up on him.

Jon, I was trying to play nice but since you mentioned it, count me in .

Well Tom, that was such a good idea, I had to go out and do the same. I did find a Haier refridgerator that fit that exact opening and allowed the TV slide to stay in place. Ready for spring time!

Looking good Tolson…You going to Snot Ball Fest ? Sure do love Chris Stapleton ! Geo.

He’s the man. Like Sturgil Simpson too. I am assuming you mean Tampa on 1/30. We will still be in Atlanta. Hope to make it past the gnat line in February. Dede mentioned JazzFest last night as well.
