We are going to add something new to this seminar.

There have been some recent threads about brake chambers so for this seminar I am going to get a couple of brake chambers and we will be able to hook them up to air so everyone is going to be able to see what we are talking about when we use terms like “spring brakes”, “caging” a brake, or “diaphragm”.

When we talk about brake checks this will help everyone attending to see and understand exactly what is happening as they go through the brake check procedure, and why each step in the procedure is important.

This seminar promises to provide a lot of great information and with the towing demonstration and the inverter session by Inverter Service Center (one of our advertisers) and we are going to learn a lot.

As Tom mentioned there are only a few spots left so if you want to take advantage of the great spring weather in East TN sign up now. When the seminar is full we cannot take more so don’t wait.

Will you have the slack adjusters with them and will they be polished?

Ted, if you need to see polished slack adjusters sign up.

    There is a preview.

Thanks, maybe next year! I’ve heard you take a lot of guff over polished everything and thought I’d contribute to the overall depth of the humor pool. I look forward to meeting all y’all some day.

These folks that pick on me don’t realize I hold a grudge.

Hey everyone coming or planning to come…..this is going to be a good seminar. Tomorrow I am putting together a small assembly consisting of a combo brake chamber and a single brake chamber and when we tie that in with the underside of the coach demonstrations it will be crystal clear what is going on every time you apply or release brakes and why and how you can tell exactly what is happening.

We may make some stuff up as we go along, but you all know we do that anyway.

You all have fun. I am at ETLC today getting Phase II of my air side replacement work done. We did the brake chambers as part of the first phase. I learn something every time I come here.

    Good Morning Tom,

I’m going to have to cancel my reservation for the March 18th Seminar. Unfortunitly something came up and I can’t be two places at the same time.

What is the expected itinerary for each day. I will need to cut it short expected back in Tallahasee by Monday morning.

Meals are included but does that mean breakfast, lunch and dinner? Looking forward to learning more about the finely tuned Prevost machine.

    All meals are included, B,L,D.

We have as mix of classroom and shop sessions with the first day dedicated to the understanding of the chassis with emphasis on the pre-trip inspections and pneumatic systems. Time is going to be set aside for a demo on towing and Inverter Service Center will present a session on our inverters. The two sessions are as yet to be scheduled because we are working around their availability.

As soon as we have their times slotted in the agenda it will be posted here.

The second day is usually set aside to discuss common problems and how to deal with them. Throughout the 2 days we have time to allow owners of the same conversions to do “show and tell” because it is the owners who often have learned the unique features of their conversion. We all (Jeff Tom and I) will also be available during those times to answer coach specific questions if we can.

If you have a specific area of interest let me know and we can try to juggle the schedule so the items important to you can be addressed before you have to leave. If you can stay at least until lunch on Sunday you can be in Tallahassee in the evening and not miss much of the seminar.

Thanks for the reply Jon. We’ll see what we can do as long as I don’t have to kiss you on the lips?
