I believed you George. Almost every manufacturer of generators has a chart showing fuel consumption figures but I think those numbers are based on worst case situations. Also I have never been able to sustain large loads on my generators so most of my running is based on air conditioners that cycle off a lot of the time, and no steady heavy loads other than the Cruiseairs.

Things like the aux compressors, water pumps, HW tanks, etc. run for very short durations and even when the inverters are set at the highest current levels it does not take long to fully recharge batteries.
