As a new owner (even a potential purchaser) the seminar will be worth far more than its cost.

Tom and I and Tradewinds are basing presentations on real world ownership knowledge and service histories and we know very well how overwhelming the coach can be to buyers and first time owners.

The best part of the seminars is students can connect with other owners who have the same conversion or model year and can share knowledge and experiences. Tom has had seven coaches. I have had three, but over a 29 year time span. Tradewinds has knowledge based on hands on experience working on countless coaches over the years. If you cannot attend you are going to miss an opportunity to get the benefit of decades of collected knowledge from people that were exactly where you are right now in the past.

Not at this time. Doing a seminar on the west coast or somewhere easily accessed from the west coast would require a “partner” which would be a shop dedicated to working on Prevost motor home conversions. In a perfect world that shop would have a depth of experience on not only the Prevost chassis, but also the conversion itself.

Jon. Have tried contacting Roger Beauchemin at Signature Rv in Beaumont CA. He was service mgr Marathon CA, same location, then took it over when Marathon relinquished facility.

We have not looked to do a seminar out west. The Prevost owner population is heavily biased towards the east and a seminar is very expensive to put on. We would need assurance of ample attendance. Just to help put this in perspective Tom and I would each spend about $1800 each just in fuel alone to get to Phoenix for example and then we pay for catering all meals plus split net proceeds equally with the host shop.

All of us involved spend a lot of hours of prep work so to schedule a seminar we need enough paid attendees to make it worthwhile. I know it sounds like we are money hungry, but when we look at potential seminars we have to consider the cost to spend Thursday through Sunday, travel time, prep time, etc.

If at least 25 people in the west want one we will do it. Cost might be a little higher than the current cost. We would be tickled if someone already out west would consider doing one. They are really important for owners.

I am not sure that this timeframe will work for me. I definitely see how it could be invaluable. How often do you have them?

Jon: Would it be possible for you and Tom to ride together? Or is that just too much time together in a confined space. That would save $60 per attendee. Remember he has slides now. Asking for a friend.

Good one Dick. I like your weird sense of humor.
