    Mike:

As you can see from my previous post, I have been fighting the same issue for quite a while. With the assistance of PC I even had a Michelin rep come check the tires for run out. All the tires were with in spec’s (less than 95 run out). After numerous days and $ spent trying to get rid of the vibration I finally gave up and decided I was going to just live with it.

After my recent 4000 mile trip I changed my mind and decided I couldn’t live with it, Sooooo, went to Prevost winter Garden, they spent over 10 hours going through the bus. Checked all the bushings (front & back), alignment, shocks, airbags, even checked frame welds for cracks. Everything thing was in good shape which pointed back to the tires.
Prevost then removed the tires, rechecked the tires and rims for runout. The rims were good but although the tires were “within spec’s”, within spec’s is not necessarily good enough.

After remounting, rebalancing, and rotating the remaining high spot to the top then loosening the Lug-nuts as describe earlier in the post, the bus runs much smoother. There is still a slight hoop, vibration at 58-62 Mph, but much better.

What have I learned over a year and many $ chasing this problem?

My bus is in better shape than I thought, tire are not as perfect as advertised and with in spec’s is not necessarily adequate!
