The check valve is made of premium parts. Spec used on this check valve is 3 psi cracking pressure, with viton valve seal, 440 stainless spring. Should be the last one you’ll ever need.

This check valve is not 1/4 inch but 1/8 size. It’s easy to install in about 20 minutes.

Thanks for the great info as usual. One question, in one of the earlier posts, it listed a 3 psi cracking pressure,

and the part number listed is for a 1 psi cracking pressure. Do I have check valves with different cracking

pressures depending on their location and function?

Cracking pressure is your choice as there making a custom valve for our application. We had a Q and A conversation based on elements the valve lives in. This valve could be 1 psi in 1/8″ size. I don’t think it makes much differance in a 1 or 3 psi cracking pressure.

Our valves were made about 6 months ago…my memory is not sharp as it once was.

I replaced my check valve and one of the mini airbags for the belt tensioner. Of course the second mini airbag is

leaking too. It is below the gear box next to the fan. Does anyone know how to access this airbag? It seems

that I can reach the bottom, where the air line attaches, but I can not seem to get to the bolt on the top.

There’s a bolt on the bottom that is fairly easy to remove, but a bitch to get back in. That bolt holds the bag to the mounting plate.

One thing that is indispensible is a mirror with an extendable handle. It will give you a view in places where you cannot get your head and help you see and understand how some of our coaches are assembled.

FWIW that bellows is the most difficult to replace, but even at that it is just going to require some time and patience.
