Bill, wow, ten years is a long time to be fighting that problem. That new engine is getting to where it’s not so new anymore. I sure hope that you have a resolution soon.

I honestly don’t think I could go ten years without it being fixed, especially, spending as much as you have.

Must have been big changes between his and my 89– I had restrictor in return line.? his does not require one? Also does his ECM not have the fuel cooling block(across end of ecm) to air in cooling Ecm. I know there were big changes going on month to month in that time period it seems, Just food for thought. Being a past 2 stroke guy both in buses and hundreds pieces of construction equipment always intrested in problem solving..

Fwiw, both my 97’s were Ddec 2.

Oops, I stand corrected.. My 94 was DDEC 2, the 97’s were DDEC 3 as Peter stated.

My 1996 prevost 1997 royale had DDEC III I replaced it with DDEC 4 new one.

Mine is 1996 chassis it had DDEC 3 it went bad put DDEC 4 in it last fall at prevost Mia Loma at the DD dealer right there.
