Lots of new owners and new coaches. Congrats to everyone.

Don’t forget, new owners need to send Tom and I very expensive gifts. It is the custom here on PC. Alright, I’m just kidding.

    Hello PC members,

Dave and Karen Middleton from here from Matthews NC, and yes, we are the new owners of Peter Campbell’s coach. Wow, the last week has been a whirlwind of activity traveling to Wyoming to get the coach and returning to Carolina last night. Karen and I want to send out a big thank you to Peter and his lovely wife Trina for rolling out a red carpet a mile long….they went above and beyond to make us comfortable, well fed, and welcome in their beautiful state. Anyone that knows Peter, well he is quite the character, and he and I developed a friendship via phone that will last a long time. Peter took Thursday afternoon and most of Friday going over the coach with us first time owners, and we cannot thank him enough…oh, and called me twice a day, everyday, after leaving his ranch to make sure everything was working good, quite the caring fellow Peter is. Thank you Peter and look forward to seeing you in April when you are here on business.

Another big thank you to Jon Wehrenberg….none of this would have happened without his knowledge and coaching over the past two years, when I became interested in someday owning a Prevost. I stumbled into PC and asked a simple question, and received 10 page answer from him…I had to do that Jon!! We developed a friendship via email, phone calls, and then visits to Knoxville, where he took time to go look at two coaches with us. Thank you Jon for always being there to help me make educated decisions, and your patience with me. It is a good thing you also have a lovely wife, Ms Di, to kinda keep you in line.

Tom, thank you also for information about your previous coach, an guiding us to Peter and the Royale!

Karen and I already love the coach and looking forward to crossing paths in the future…….we are still working folks so will be a few years befre really blazing a trail.

Everyone be safe, and Happy Coaching!

    Dave and Karen

Looks like Dave has outed himself.

He now has the problem of having to wait a couple of weeks for that big grin he has on his face to disappear.

Dave is a great guy. Not as great as Karen, but he’s OK. Good folks.

Congrats Dave and Karen. Now make sure you put that coach to use. And post your questions here. This PC group has a lot of expertise not found anywhere else.

    Dave &Karen,

Congratulations on your new coach, I suspect you got a really good coach and hope you enjoy many many happy traveling miles with the coach. You mention a 2 year search that has come to a good end result. I have been reading this forum everyday and trying to orbsorb the wealth of knowledge that is here. We are also working folks who are currently spending to much time working, but hope to slow down soon and when we see the slowdown we want to purchase a Prevost. We have been to, Millenium, Florida Luxury, Lazy Days, Parliament, and I made it to the POG coach show in January. I looked at a private sale locally and almost purchased it in excitement but luckily I thought thru it with a little more thought than excitement and walked away like people on here suggested when I inquired on here about people’s thoughts.

Do you have any thoughts you can share about the time that you spent looking, and what you thought was positive and negatives to your journey. Did you have other motorhomes prior to this or was this a first for future soon to be retirement planning.

Good to hear from you Dave, now the fun begins…

PS – If you find any hidden hundred dollar bills, they’re mine, not Peter’s….
