We were able to book a place to stay (Sanlan Ranch Campground) between the Prevost EXPO and the Lakeland concours so we will now do both. Three weeks in Florida in February seems better than Winter on the Cumberland Plateau.

Hope to see a bunch of the PC folks at both.

Hello all! Hard to believe that Fall is here already. I hope a lot of you fit in some good touring over the summer. I had a few great trips including spending some time in the Watkins Glen area of NY. If you have never been make sure you put it on a future schedule. It is a beautiful place.

This February we will have a great event in Lakeland, FL. Prevost is a main sponsor this year. We are negotiating now on some nationally recognized talent for one evenings entertainment. For the first time in years we are also not on the Daytona 500 weekend. This should again allow us to host some of the main manufactures in the industry.

I will use this forum to post all of the upcoming updates as they happen. This weekend is our last event in Carlisle for the season. This will allow our entire team to focus on AutoFest and the Air and Coach Concours. Also, please feel free to post your thoughts and suggestions here. Many of you have joined us in the past and have participated in many of our offered activities over the years. If you have any suggestions on what we should add to agenda, just let us know. Also, if you have any ideas from other events please don’t hesitate to mention them.

Sign-up is going well and I am optimistic that we will have the largest turnout yet for our 7th edition!

I am headed south next week and I will be stopping at the Prevost Community Seminar on my way to FL. I hope to see some of you there! For now I’m back to work at Fall Carlisle!

I’m still looking for a tow-bar base plate for a ’58 Rolls. If anyone hears of one around let me know.

Silver Cloud or Silver Wraith? Manual or HydraMatic? Can the HydraMatic be towed 4-down without a transmission pump? I’m not even sure the manual can be towed 4-down… never really checked in to it.

I think you would need to fabricate or modify a baseplate regardless. Towing a classic R-R is not mainstream.

I’d love to see your “toad”. I have a history with post-WWII R-Rs.
