We will be leaving Amarillo monday and headed to Albuquerque for a week, does anyone have any campgrounds that they would recommend? We were thinking of Isletta lakes casino but those slot machines are my downfall.

We’ve stayed at the American RV Park in Albuquerque several times. All paved with easy access for big rigs and a generally nice, although not particularly scenic, park.

American is the best in Albuqueque. It’s west of town on Central Ave. (originally 66) which runs from one end of town to the other. There is another park on Cerrillos ( I think) closer in town which we drove thru recently in the toad to make sure we would fit. It had spaces some spaces large enough but also a separate section of residences(double wides). It wouldn’t bother me but thought I should mention it. Great food and dives all over Albuqueque. Have a ball.

Near as I can tell that is just about under the slab floor in the middle of the living room. I also believe the owner is gone and that is it OK for prospectors to bring their drilling equipment and concrete hammers to see if it is still there.

Rumor has it the amount buried is a big one so have at it boys and girls.

I have been digging in Red’s back yard. Need to move to the living room as soon as I get the jackhammer from the rental store in the morning. Since I live just down the street the neighbors don’t ask what I am doing.

Bob cannot shoot anyone. He as last seen dragging a jackhammer into your living room.

Andre has trained the armadillo to help dig.

You are starting to scare me now Jon ! i knew Andre was weird but I didnt know he liked armadillos. As far as Bob goes, I think you may be right cause he isnt answering his phone.

Tell me the truth Jon are you secretly hiding out at the great outdoors?

My information was the Viper had to be taken out of garage and parked at Eagles Pride with a for sale sign on it so Andre could get the drill in the garage. He was heard to have been talking to himself about Hoffa, not sure what that was all about.

He is a vette owner what else could you expect. Jon Dont say a thing ! LOL

Hey while we are getting back to the thread here. We have been at Amarillo ranch for a week and have been in the worst site available while the late arrival overniters get the good spots. Guess who wont be back here. and If you come here you better check out your site before you commit.Guess making reservations months ahead doesnt help.
