Tom’s wrong, at least with the governor I have. My governor’s is 20 psi below cut out.

Given your system pressure is not dropping, the problem is before the primary and secondary tanks. It could be the purge valve, unloader, or leak somewhere between the dryer and primary/secondary tanks. FYI, the pressure signal to the unloader is a line coming from the wet tank. At least that’s how a 98 chassis is. I’d check for leaks prior to the primary/secondary tanks first.

According to Bendix the pressure differential is 20 PSI and that is non-adjustable. However Prevost has not always used adjustable governors so the pressure differential may be other than 20 PSI.
If the air dryer is purging frequently and there is no loss (or significant loss) on the air gauges then as Gil says there is likely a system leak ahead of the primary and secondary tanks.

First chance I’ve had to thank you all (lack of internet connection). Sitting in Edmonton now, Calgary tomorrow. Understand all your inputs and should be able to get it when I get home.
I’m running a Bendix remanned by Bendix D-2, Bendix part number 275491, the spec cut in at 100 out at 120. Put this part in this spring, did not change any symptoms I had last year, i.e. 3 to 5 pound cycles. Will proceed with the items you have mentioned above. Thanks again.
