We need to recognize up front that different groups have different rally fees, different activities, and even different schedules. Some use “planners” to set up the rallies, negotiate with the venue, and arrange all the entertainment, catering, etc. Other groups have committees, and other groups have one or two members set things up.

Some go first class all the way with high quality dining, excellent entertainment, and no seminars. Some go in the opposite direction with a very casual rally and the costs tend to reflect what the rally includes. Obviously a 200 coach rally has to appeal to the broadest cross section of Prevost enthusiasts so it would have to be a middle of the road rally, but with emphasis on access to technology that is product or converter specific. It is the only way enough owners of a specific conversion can come together for the express purpose of getting support for their particular coach short of a converter run rally.

There is no doubt there are going to be differences of philosophy regarding how a rally is to be run, and what it is to include. The only way a large rally can have the content and agenda needed is if everyone chimes in and makes it clear what is wanted in terms of an agenda, activities, accomodations, food, etc. If we are able to proceed towards this goal all who are going to be involved in creating the rally need direction.
