Jealousy is not very becoming Jon. I prefer to take the high road ,however I will say that corvetts are becoming as numerous as toyota taxi’s and just as exciting to look at . HAH TAKE THAT !!!!

Mark your calendars! I’ve owned several Corvettes and have ridden in Vipers. I’m with Jon, my C-6 rode better than any Viper, hands down. I will say the Viper has a kind of cool factor because there are so few. I can say the same about the Prowler I had. It too looked very cool, but not the best of ride. And, of course, the Prowler was a dog!
And the new Corvette…can anyone not love their looks? What a great car!

I always thought of a Corvette as a naval ship. My grandson and I were out at the course today and he asked, “What car is that Papa?” Now understand there was an old car show yesterday while we were out and about. He saw several oldies and asked the same question. Papa knew everyone, Fords, Mopars, and even GM models. He was not impressed when I told him today’s car was a Corvette. He also asked what year it was since I had told him the year and model of all the cars yesterday. He was equally unimpressed when I told him I didn’t know because I never really liked Corvettes or GM in general.
I once rode in a restored frame off 1958 with a built 327. Not impressed. Today would be less impressed since I’d need a crane to lift me out of the bucket seat – bad knees and more weight.

Pay very close attention. When Gil and I agree you know it is the absolute truth.
My early Corvettes were loud, rode poorly, rattled, but were reliable, a little capable, and lasted forever. But the C6 Z06 I have now blew me away when I test drove it. It is my daily driver.
I have never had a car so capable, so enjoyable to drive, or so fast. 85 mph comes up on the speedometer pretty fast.

I did notice that you two agreed on something for achange but nobody is gonna change my mind. I love my Viper with all its faults cause when I hit the go pedal its just a great feeling and when I look at it I get that warm all over feeling.

A leaky bladder will do that to you on ocassion I have heard….

Red, that’s a great looking car! A Saturday night drive up and down the strip at Daytona surely turns heads. Have you ever driven it that far LOL? Like I said, great looking car.

Hey Red, I see Vettes every day, but I sure don’t see a Viper. Know what a mean….
I rode in Jon’s Vette once, he ran over snail and I hurt my back from the road shock.
I could have had a Vette, but I did this instead.
