“““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““` Joined here a few months back with the anticipation of owning a Prevost someday. Researching and lurking on here for what seemed hours at a time has finally yielded our first Prevost, a 1996 Vantare H3 45. We settled on the H3 because of the large storage bays and the timeless style of the ““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““

I dont know how to post pictures. Our bus was advertised by Panterra RV out of Angola Indiana and also Holland, Michigan It should be like the 6th one down on their website under coaches for sale marked as “SOLD”

We went to look at it the second week in January. Bought it that day but left it at the dealership where it was warm and plugged in until this past weekend when we brought it home.

We would like to thank the owners of Panterra RV, Rex, Joyce, Randy and their technician (Mark) for:

    1) Taking the time to go over with me all of the systems and answering my endless questions on delivery day.

    2) They were extremely professional and fair throughout the entire process and I would highly recommend them for anyone up in this neck of the woods looking to either purchase or have work performed on a Prevost.

I will say that having just a 38 foot American Eagle, there is a steep learning curve with our new coach. I work in aviation and this coach seems light years ahead of any rv we have owned, but, then again, it is a Prevost….:-).

We are a few years away from retirement, but like I told the wife, “I have yet to see a U-Haul trailer behind any hearse yet on it’s way to the cemetary” so lets make this purchase while we are both still feeling good and can enjoy it.

Please bare with me as I come on here with silly qusetions over the next few months. lol. So far this site has been awesome and a tremendous help in getting us to this point.

    Congrats on the new purchase.

Being your first Prevost you will have lots of questions, and fortunately you will get the answers on this site.

Rumor has it that sometimes the answers are actually correct. I can assure that is likely an accident.

Just kidding of course. We have a lot of Vantare expertise here and with the support you will get from Rex and the folks at Panterra you are not going to have any problem learning your new coach.

It just seems overwhelming now, but as you will learn it is not that daunting and the more you use it the more you will appreciate the coach and its systems.

Their must be something in the air this spring with all the new bus owners. Congradulations…..welcome to

    Prevost Community.

All new owners receive first year paid memberships, along with advice and our general opinions on almost everything including my favorite… how to spend other PC members money.

On a side note….6 Marathons have sold here at MCC-Indio this season including the MCC display 2014

Marathon H 3/s …#1212 has found an owner this past week.

Good choice on the Vantare H. I’m on my second one. You will like the electrical system once you learn it.

When we were looking at the Newell coaches at the MCC in Indio, one of the two on display was sold the day after we looked.

It’s good to hear that the Marathon coach (1212) sold as it was a beautiful coach. It had three slides and we wanted four. We drove that coach on a test drive.

We had a nice salesman that flew in from the factory to show us the coach.

It looks like the economy might just be turning around with upper end coaches selling. I know we helped!
