Total Annual cost of ownership
Posted by TJ on October 29, 2017 at 7:34 pmHi all, was just wanting to try and get an idea of what is the typical cost of annual ownership not counting maintenace costs. We plan to be using our coach about six and half months out of the year.
Thanks,
TJ

Put this in the search box. There is a lot of information that has been posted in the past.
“yearly cost”

What categories were you thinking about other than “maintenance costs”?

TJ,
Other than maintenance…….. Fixed monthly costs:
-Insurance.
-Garage rental.
-Internet service for coach (I-link).
-Direct TV (we don’t have it yet, but will soon).
-Butler (that’s me and I charge a lot).

How high is up?
How low can you go?
Why is the sky blue?
My point is simple in that there is no correct answer to the first question. Not only should the question provide a substantial amount of information about the coach, where it is located, etc. What might be suitable insurance, adequate storage, amount of use, might be significant factors that would vary the answers substantially.

The only non maintenance costs you should have beyond the cost of the coach would be insurance, fuel and RV parks. From what I read on this site, insurance costs can be all over the map depending on coverage and coach value. Overnight costs can range from free to $150+ per night.
The one thing we all pay is fuel and that total depends on how much you drive. I have driven about 13,000 miles so far this year with about 5000 more to go. I have filled up 15 times and spent about $4600 in fuel. I do not hesitate to run my generator when I need it either.
