    Check Engine Light

    Ran my coach (1991 8V92TA, 72,000 MILES) about 300 miles the other day 90+ degree heat water and oil temp normal. Pulled into check in spot, set brakes, motor high idle, came back and puppy would not go into gear with check engine light on dash. pushed buttoms several times. Killed motor and started anew all back to normal. Checked trans fluid, okay. Any ideas? I wonder if it set a code and time for Stewart Stevenson check out on trans. Prervost Ft Worth changed to sythentic fluid at 52,000 miles. Ran back home no problems.
